Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Jewellery
What kind of silver do you use?
We primarily use .925 sterling silver. This is a high-quality alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, typically copper. The added metals increase the silver's durability and strength, making it perfect for everyday wear. In case of our enamel (Meenakari) jewellery in our Heritage collection, the dangles are made of .925 sterling silver but the enamel work is primarily done on .99+ pure silver.

How do I know my jewellery is authentic silver?
Unless the piece is too small to allow, all of our sterling silver pieces are marked with a "925" stamp. This hallmark is a standard in the jewelry industry and guarantees the authenticity and quality of the silver.
Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?
Sterling silver is generally considered hypoallergenic. We do not use nickel in our alloy, which is a common cause of allergic reactions. However, everyone's body chemistry is different, so we can't guarantee there won't be a reaction.

What is Anti Tarnish Coating?
Anti Tarnish coating consists of dipping the jewelry in an organic lacquer while applying an electrical current to it. This helps form an invisible thin resin around it. Anti Tarnish coating is completely safe and it prevents the product from tarnishing.
Size Guide
Earrings
Earring fit can vary depending on the placement of your piercing, ear shape, and personal comfort. For example, a 10mm hoop may fit snugly on one person’s earlobe while sitting looser on another. We recommend carefully checking the size guide below and measuring against your own jewelry to ensure the correct fit before placing your order.
Hoop Earrings
- Small Hoops (8–12mm): Fit snugly around the earlobe for a minimal everyday look.
- Medium Hoops (14–20mm): Offer a little extra space, ideal for a comfortable daily wear with a subtle statement.
- Large Hoops (25mm+): Hang below the earlobe, making more of a fashion statement.
How to Measure:
1. Use a ruler or caliper to measure from the piercing hole to the edge of your earlobe.
2. Add a couple of millimeters for a comfortable fit.
Half-Hoop Stud Earrings
Diameter (10–15mm): Most half hoops fall in this size range, giving the look of a small hoop while wearing like a stud.
Since they don’t wrap completely around the lobe, the “drop” effect is less dramatic than full hoops. Ensure you measure from your piercing hole down to where you’d like the bottom of the half hoop to sit.
Bracelets
How to Measure:
1, Wrap a flexible tape measure (or a strip of paper/string) around your wrist just above the wrist bone.
2. Note the measurement and add 0.5"–1" (1.25–2.5 cm) for comfort, depending on how loose you like your bracelet.
Necklaces
Common Necklace Lengths for Women:
14 in (35 cm) – Choker: Sits tightly around the neck.
16 in (40 cm) – Collarbone: A versatile everyday length, rests just above the collarbone.
18 in (45 cm) – Princess: Most popular; sits at or just below the collarbone. Works well with pendants.
20 in (50 cm): Falls a few inches below the collarbone, good for layering.
Fit Tips:
Consider your neckline — shorter chains pair well with V-necks, longer ones with high necklines.
For kids and teens, smaller sizes (12–14 in) may be more suitable.
Adjustable chains (with extender links) allow flexibility for layering.
Care and Maintenance
How should I clean my silver jewellery?
The best way to clean your sterling silver is with a soft cloth after use. For a deeper clean, you can use a mild soap and warm water and dry it thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Why is my silver jewellery tarnishing?
Tarnishing is a natural process that happens when silver reacts with sulfur in the air and on our skin. It's not a sign of poor quality. It appears as a dark or yellowish film. Regular cleaning and proper storage can help prevent this.

How should I store my jewellery to prevent tarnish?
Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. An airtight bag or a jewelry box with an anti-tarnish strip is ideal, as it helps reduce exposure to air and moisture.
Each jewellery box we ship includes an anti-tarnish tab that typically lasts 6–12 months, depending on environmental conditions. We also provide a few spare tabs in an airtight zip-lock bag for your continued use.
How can I remove tarnish from my silver jewellery?
You can use a silver polishing cloth on plain, non-plated silver to remove tarnish. Avoid using it on Gold-plated, Enamel (Meenakari), or Everyday collection (anti-tarnish coated), as the polishing compound will harm the specialized finish.
